DW quality is exceptional. This exact clamp is so sturdy that there is no nead of a memory clamps to prevent it from slippage around the base tube. All their clamps are made from real (brushed) aluminum not molded cheap materials. They look solid and work perfect. But you have to go trough all the other brands to realise how much better dw clamps are.
