An excellent tool for a small price!

A very interesting gadget for jamming and playing around, but at the same time a powerful tool for creating serious audio landscapes and experimenting. Easy to use, especially if you already have some experience with drum machines and grooveboxes.

After a week of exploring it, I can see it earning a place among the instruments I use regularly. Recommended for both hobbyists and professionals looking for some experimentation and fun.

A very fun toy

It's a very basic drum machine which also incorporates bass sounds, operated with a stylus, pretty intuitively (like all stylophones). It has a few different sounds for bass and drums, a looper with adjustable click and quantised recording. When you playback a loop you can also filter the sound. Don't expect it to be what it's not - it's definitely toylike, and it's pretty cool and fun. Can get your creative juices flowing. If you like stylophones or lofiness in general, it's a neat addition.

Amazing Gadget. Must-Have on the Road

Unique and super easy to use! 4 drum sounds + 4 bass sounds. Once you plug the three AA batteries, you're good to go. You can create loops with drum and bass patterns, that you can store (max. 4) and transpose. The small built-in speaker isn't of great quality, but with the jack output, you can get great sound through speakers, and also into a DAW. Highly recommend to anyone from a frantic birthday present hunter, to a curious musician.

Le meilleur gadget musical que j'ai eu entre les mains

Le stylophone beat est un gadget, mais un gadget qui inspire.

L'interface peut paraître cryptique de premier abord, mais le manuel est clair et l'appareil s'utilise vite machinalement.
Ensuite on s'amuse immédiatement avec la bestiole. Créer et éditer un beat se fait sans friction. Le looper dure deux mesure, ce qui est très peu, mais cette limite peut être contournée avec un peu d'astuce. L'absence de mémoire interne rend le jouet d'autant plus fun, pas de pression de performance, tout est éphémère. Le glissando sur les lignes de basse m'a surpris par rapport au fonctionnement du Stylophone Gen X-1 (avec lequel le stylophone beat se marie très bien, soit dit en passant) mais est un excellent choix de design.
L'interface excentrique encourage la créativité et les accidents heureux, un vrai bijou pour se sortir d'un manque d'inspiration.

Des heures de fun au format poche, je vais en re-commander pour offrir en cadeau.
