The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.

- VCA for audio signals (AC-coupled) with a linear response, audio input and output, CV input and level control
- Attack-decay envelope with controls for attack and decay time (range: 0.1 ms – 7 s, selectable via jumper), switchable to attack-release envelope, switchable LFO mode, gate input, envelope output (range: 0 V to +10 V) and trigger button
- The output of the envelope is normalised to the CV input of the VCA
