Most transparent bass electronics seen so far
pros: Installed this on a ESP D5 bass and the sound improved considerably compared to the stock electronics.
Specially noticeable on trebles/mid highs.
cons:-The knobs were a little thicker than the previous ones, so I had to file out the wood to allow them trough.
-is obviously not cheap

Very clean and transparent
I've been looking for a transparent bass preamp and decided to try this one. I installed it on my Warwick LX Jazzman replacing stock mec 3 band eq and I'm happy now! The passive and active mode are almost exactly the same and controls are more sensitive and alot more usable.
pros: the sound is very close to passive and frequencies are a lot more usable.
cons: the price, but for me it worth it

Tone Capsule
I am absolutely baffled by the difference this makes in my active 5 string. Not just a preamp but it offers a so wide range into tonal variety that it's worthwile to have this installed in your bass. You could have this poured into a pedal but having the preamp onboard is a plus. Worth the price , good price to quality ratio !
