Crispy and fresh!
I bought these strings since they promised to stay “fresh” and “bright sounding” a lot longer than most other strings on the market. Did they deliver?
Well … Yes. They’ve been on for a couple of weeks and were intensely played. Most strings would’ve lost their ring by now. But not these ones! They (almost) sound the same as the day I steunt them on my bass. Kudos to D’Addario! Furthermore, due to their thin coating, they feel quite a lot softer to the touch and produce notably less string noise when gliding over. Another plus in my book!
All in all, are they worth the cost? I’ll know in a couple of months. But so far, they’ve held true to their promises. The same can not be said for some of the other strings on the market.
