These strings are better than some strings I have played which are twice the price!
The sound is balanced across all 4 strings and the tone matches all the way up the neck. Very good value!.

Helicore Hybrids are a compromise between the Orchestral and Pizzicato strings made by D'Addario. While the orchestra strings are designed primarily for bowing and the Pizzicato strings are primarily for those playing with their fingers, these are made for those who do both. As you'd expect, their tone is a bit of a compromise: more growl and sustain but not quite as bowable.

Excellents strings
I use them for jazz (pizz.) and classical (arco) and works both perfectly. They keep their tone and sustain for long time, and the price is affordable. After years trying others (Thomastick, Pirastro...), they are now my best option.
