Best speaker
Bought this for my Vox amp. To replace the standard Celestion VX speaker. Wanted something that was like Alnico Blue but a bit different and was veary pleased with the difference it made to my amp. It took out the harsh metallic highs and added sustain. Lost a bit of distortion.

Great for the rock.
Each of Celestion's Alnico speakers fits a niche in sound. This is like a Greenback in terms of its brightness and roar but with greater power handling. Put it with an H-Heritage or Creamback 75 speaker for some stellar sound! Not cheap and not necessarily better than a great Greenback, just different.
