Great space saver on your pedalboard
I purchased one of these to use my JCM800 head so I could switch both channels and turn the reverb on or off. I've used various standard amp switchers in the past but always had problems with the cable failing or bemoaned the lack of LEDs. I've even modified a few with a jack socket so the cable life is prolonged by using a separate stereo cable. Still though I was never happy with the amount of space a standard 2 button switch takes up on my pedalboards. This little box is a godsend. It takes up only slightly more space than a standard sized MXR type pedal and should last a lifetime (most Boss products do in my experience). The housing is all metal also so should withstand plenty of abuse. A real bonus is that it is multi functional so I may find a separate use for it with keyboards or tap tempo as it can be switched from latching to non-latching. Only drawback for some people is that it needs a power supply. I have a few spare outlets on the one underneath my board so not a problem for me.
Brilliantly designed, multi-function product which is long overdue on the market.

Much improved functionality and dimensions.
I purchased this product to use in conjunction with the new Boss RC3 Loop Station. The new functionality, where you can move back and forth through loops fairly quickly and easily using the A button (momentarily to move forward, and held down to move backwards through loops), is excellent compared to what I was used to using the FS5U and RC2. The reduced dimensions are excellent, and alongside the ability to power the footswitch via a standard Boss power supply (whereas the FS5U requires batteries), makes this product much more suitable for use in a fixed pedalboard.

very useful
I use it with the Boss GP-10 because it has the same design for the switches, it works perfectly and expands the processor's possibilities. But it's great with so many other pedals.

Great quality and space saving.
With all the switching options I can't see how this couldn't be compatible with any footswitch requirements. Space saving too and the power is only for the LEDS -so even without power it still works.

RC5's Best Friend
I use this to navigate through the loops/riffs/progressions stored on my RC5. It can be set up to perform a few functions but what sold me on it was the fact that I can now scroll through loops with my foot: A - up and B - down.
A TRS cable and power are also necessary, so that will some more $/€/£ to your investment.

Compact
I use a boss looper and and gt1 effects unit, I have one of these for both boxes and get a lot of mileage out of them. They are compact, take up the space of one regular guitar pedal. You can easily press the top pedal without accidentally pressing the lower one. Really good pedal.

Superb and Small Switch Pedal
This is a superbly versatile foot switch. Change between momentary and latch mode and the ability to change the polarity mean that it will work with pretty much anything.
Separate outs for each switch or a combined output for both.
Optional power means you can have the LEDs light up when the switch is engaged.
Perhaps the only two negative points are that there is no power through to chain it to another pedal, and the position of the LEDs make them hard to see if you have big feet.
Construction wise this is really solid. The main housing is metal and although the switches are plastic, they are very tough plastic which should withstand a good amount of pounding.
The main selling point of this foot switch is that is has a very small footprint as it is just fractionally thinner than a standard boss compact pedal.
Overall, if I needed another dual footswitch this would be my main choice other than making my own in a 1590A enclosure if I had the time.

Great footswitch
This is a great foot switch. It reacts well, has many possibilities, it is well made. I use it with the Boss looper pedal RC 500, it takes up little space on the pedalboard, the switches are very accessible. It’s quite expensive, but it pays off.

Solid and switchy....
Perfect build and robustness. Does all the switchin' one needs, I use a few of them to isolate and control FX and Loop pedals.
Nice ( not too soft ) resistance, just as you'd expect from anything Boss.
No hesitation. If you need a foot-switch, this is probably it, and given the latching options, it can be used for almost anything!
