Ich brauchte ein neues Fell für ein Tamburim, gerne dicker als sein Vorgänger. Ich benutze es in einem Percussion-SetUp, wo es in hoher Spannung gelegentlich dickeren Stöcken ausgesetzt ist. Einen sinnvollen Vergleich zu dem sehr viel dünneren Originalfell habe ich also nicht, da dieses für biegsame Peitschen konzipiert wurde. Probleme gab es nur beim Hochziehen, da die Spannhaken dafür wohl nicht gedacht sind.
