Switchcraft Panel Mount 1/4” TRS Jack NI

I've had several of these switchcraft jacks on various basses. From experience, if I didn't have to use a tunnel type jack ever again I wouldn't, this is simply because I believe they are more prone to damage because of the longer insert. I don't believe it is the manufacturers problem but rather just the nature of the beast. Obviously some basses with a side jack mount will need this type of jack but my advice is to only get one if it is necessary. If you have the option, get a standard old school jack connector, they last longer.

The original Jack Plug on my kramer pacer was really deteriorating and felt really frail. This came to my house (fastly) and when soldered it felt really solid and since I installed it, my guitar has never let me down.

The delivery was also super fast and well packed.

5 years of use, and still rocking!

I needed to replace the jack on my old Japanese Bass Collection and this did the job beautifully. While I was at it I installed a Glockenklang 2 band active EQ (also from Thomann) and the two went together perfectly.

solid, very well finished and very easy to solder into your system after pre soldering the terminals. quite a deep piece and a bit of thought before forking out cash to see if it will fit into your axe.

Great quality output jack! Very robust and looks very discreet when installed.

Got this as a replacement for a failing jack on an active Yamaha bass from 1990.

Easy to install, easy to solder. Feels solid. Bass works again!
