AKG D-7

I've been using this Mic every week for about 2 years now and it has performed flawlessly. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Mic's are a very personal preference but I like the sound of this one on my vocals - it's very crisp and clean, not harsh. with a fairly even reponse.
My example isn't the variant with a switch, hence only the four stars here for features, but that's what I knew I was getting. I didn't need or want the switch. If you do want a switch get that version instead and give it five :-)

Perfect. Quality microphone. It really does not distort the voice and does not produce any effects that are inappropriate... We have three main is here microphones in the group.

I bought this to replace an older microphone that had given up the ghost (D - 5 I think) The D 5 didn't last that long to be honest and Im not sure what killed it! Anyway, over the years I have used Shure 58, AKG D5, Senheiser and Beyer Opus range of vocal mics for my live performances. I love this one. The clarity and body of the mic is far superior to a 58 or anything else I have tried so far. Feedback is not an issue as I use in ears, the sound I get from this in my in ears is like being in the studio! Great build quality, Great mic clip and case provided too.

This is very good mic, construction is top quality, the sound goes way more that you can ask for this price.

This mic is great. It has a nice clarity, but the sound i still very warm and full. It does not sound muffled at all. It sits comfortably in your hands. It includes a very nice carrying case as well.
