Loud and clear
Like the larger Acama Zen bowls, this small (tiny in fact) model maintains the same clean sound and high quality finish.
Given their size, they have are suprisingly loud - though they are a bit too small to rub effectively reaching a peak volume well before the level achievable with a mallet. The only other downside is the sustain is quite short - n most likely due to the size and lack of mass.
For the price you might be able to get a more suitable bowl if you are not a collector - though if you are a bowl fanatic as I am now - you will be very happy with this one.
For reference the Zen 8's I have had ranged between 200-230g with a frequency between 670-815hz

Great addition to the other Acama Zen singing balls
I highly recommend to include this bowl if you having already some other Acama Zen bowls. It goes perfectly well along my Acama Zen 15, 13 and 11.
