Lasted about a year only
I forgot I purchased this on Thomann until I just saw it in my purchase history. This died on me after only about a year, had I remembered I bought it on here I would have tried to return it.
Lost all data, the device just makes a clicking noise every time I plug it in to my laptop and no laptop can read it. Very disappointing.

Nice
I use this drive a lot with both mac and pc. It has never let me down. It has lasted two years now and is still in perfect condition. Small, handy and very low low noise. At this price I'd say well moneys' worth. 1TB has been more than enough space for my projects, including sound engineering, music and video productions.

WD 1TB
Works great with older MacBook Pro, High Sierra. You have to have the patience to format it correctly at first, but after that it works like a charm. Indispensable for backups & DAWs.

Reliable
I have three Western Digital hard drives for all my work and backups. One of them I have for 6 years now, and it's been moved around a lot. I've never had a problem.

DATA LOST!
I lost my data! without any reason the data became inaccessible! I just googled to see what is going on and I found also the others they had the same problems!
The data recovery was really expensive and could not effort to do that and could not save my data on other device!

Does what it's supposed to do
Can't find any fault in this external hard drive. It's relatively fast, compact, reliable and comes with a sturdy usb cable.
