Great case, at a great price
For those left-handed parias like myself who wondered, yes this case fits a LH axe.
The photo's don't do the case justice, it looks far nicer even with the material being faux leather.
Pros
- Fit all my left-handed SC guitars
- Very affordable hardcase
- Ample room for regular sized strap and some small items, strings, tuner, etc.
- The interior finish looks and feels nice
- Extra support and security for the neck by means of a strap
- It didn't have an unpleasant glue/plastic odor, unlike some cases.
- It looks different alright!
Cons
- The locking mechanism feels cheap/like it may give up anytime soon (That said, I don't think most people would buy a case for that kind of security unless you actually need to travel instead of just transporting it)
- The exterior stitching was sloppy where the end meets the beginning of the stitch-work.
- The way the handle has been stitched it may cut (nothing sharp) into your hand when carrying, especially when you have a somewhat heavier guitar to transport
- It looks different alright!
P.s. My particular case had a minor issue with the latch that had the lock on it, which luckily resolved itself after some gentle poking and prodding with a screwdriver inside the locking mechanism. I did notify Thomann of the issue prior to my tinkering and they were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue otherwise, but seeing I managed to resolve it it became a moot issue.

Almost perfectly for Gibson LP
The guitar case fit almost perfectly on the Gibson LP Standard guitar. The guitar does not slide in the case , in fact the case is even a little tight.
The material quality is good, the inside could be a bit softer, but it's still good. And the pattern? Cool!

Thomann Elite Case SC Snake
I ordered this case purely on its looks initially as it certainly seemed like it would stand out in the crowd and it does not disappoint on that front! That said, it is also a sturdy well made case and will show off any Les Paul shaped guitar to advantage It is really fun, a bit "blingy" and the red interior should contrast well with most colours of electric guitar! It is certain that no-one will pick up the wrong guitar case by accident if you are using this which could be a really useful feature! That said, it is very fit for its basic purpose too and really well finished and the snake skin pattern is nicely contrasted by the darker edge strips on the case! I love this case and just hope that this type of snake skin finish can be produced as a rectangular guitar case and also for acoustic guitars too in the future! What I would like to suggest to the good people at Thomann is this, what about trying this finish on other types of guitar case and what about using the snake finish on a pedal case too? The possibilities are endless and it would be so cool to have all one's guitars and accessories in matching cases!! I absolutely love this case and would strongly recommend it to everyone!! After all, what could be more rock'n'roll than carrying your guitar in such a smart and unique case!! I am sure I will be back to buy another one just like it soon!

Fantasic. Perfect fit for a Gibson Les Paul
Perfect fit for my Gibson Les Paul Studio. No wobbling about. Also has a strap to hold the guitar, which isn't really needed for a Gibson, but may be there for slightly smaller shaped LP style bodies.
Headstock lays nowhere near the base of the case, so no risk of the dreaded Gibson headstock breakoff, if it took a whack on the back to the floor, while in the case.
The compartment inside is big enough to hold a wide strap and a handful of accessories, but you may struggle to get a wireless transmitter in there with your strap, capo, clip on tuner etc.
Would highly recommend

Very nice and well built case, with the exception of needing to put a towel under the guitar so it does not move up and down in the case, could be shallower to fit pauls better.

This case looks so nice! I bought it for my new Harley Benton SC-550 II BCF (Lespaul shape guitar). There is a bit of wiggle room but no big cons and I think you can just add some fabric or padding on the bottom of the guitar to prevent the guitar from going up or down inside the case.
In conclusion, the case came in great shape and now my Harley Benton SC guitar has a killer home! WORTH THE PRICE!

Just as I've wanted
My Gibson '57 Les Paul fit in just right. Good interior and it has double neck rest, plus a security strap. Knowing that Les Paul headstocks are frail, it is a very good improvement. Case closes very tight and securely. Everything is great. You get your money's worth. I am very satisfied with it

Can’t go wrong with this one.
This case looks awesome inside and out. Great Padding. Nice neck strap to be extra secure. The red interior looks great. All the hardware is sturdy. I’m once again, impressed with the quality. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat.

Snakeskin LP Case
When I ordered this I was a little worried about the quality, workmanship, weight and overall protection for my 71 LP Custom! My original case is on its way out so I thought I would retire it and get a case that is blinging and safe to use with my LP. The photos do not do it justice!! In the flesh it is way better and sexier too! It fits like a glove and the compartment to hold my strap and spare strings, picks and lube etc is bigger than my Gibbo case too! I highly recommend this case to anyone who is thinking of buying one for their LP and I would definitely buy another one!!!!!!

well made case, very solid, very well finished, fits my les paul perfectly, nice and soft interior, has a strap to hold the neck in place, should you have the case open and vertical, it will stop the guitar falling out. it even has a gap in the lining for your strap button to fit into, which is a lovely touch. The fasteners are all solid and fit properly, and are all finished in a very attractive antique brass colour. it has studs on the bottom and side to keep the case off the floor. great value, really well made, great service.
