Powerful LED lamp at a reasonable price at last
I recently purchased a X32 Compact and needed a lamp to go with it. When I was ordering I originally read through the X32 manual to find that it said 3 pin. However when the console arrived the connector was a 4 pin XLR. Thomann as usual were very happy for me to return the lamp however I found I was able to replace the connector for about the same price it was to send it back. I would like to add that it was all my fault for the wrong purchase.
The light works very well with the dimming however, on my desk anyway, anything below 50% doesn't light up the LEDs at all. This is typical for LEDs as they don't easily dim as a standard lamp does. The output is nice and wide, perfect for my compact desk and can easily fit in the back of the flight case when travelling.
If anyone is wondering. The "LED bar" part is detachable from the gooseneck so you can always purchase longer ones etc. Or if you already have a light that you want to use then you can use this gooseneck for that lamp (it is a standard DC plug fit).

quick fix
While Jack Danielz the band has a big desk with two lights, sound engineer, 14,000w PA and all the bits for a festival rock band. We also have a duo of the same name with a 8 channel studio sound desk with no application for a light? While going through the Thomann web site we saw the Starviile LEDXLR3 light! Of coarse Thomann had the connection and power for us to fix this excellent light to the desk, including a on/off switch, which was extra small amount of euro's! It has a LED bulbs which cover the whole area of the desk. A very long neck, which can cover a large area too. The price is very good, and always the cheapest form the best music store in Europe.

Amazing
Amazing led light providing light on your mixer anytime, anywhere.
If you don't have any dedicated xlr, just put it in a mic in with phantom power!
I use it with my allen & heath ZED420 in the talk back in and it's very usefull!
A must have if it did not come with your own mixer!

This light is intended to illuminate the mixer by connecting to the XLR input.
It has quality, it emits enough light, it is recommended!

Good for a small desk
I have had this for more than 5-years and it still works fine. I use it regularly too!
The light is a little directional, with a quite small angle of output, but as it moves easily, I don't mind (I use with a PMP 6000 desk).
A handy thing to have for dark gigs! There may be brighter ones, but it does the job fine.

good but not quite enough coverage for whole desk
I don't use it too often as some venues we have enough light anyway.
When I do, the spread of light is not quite enough to cover the whole desk (Yamaha EMX 5016 ) at one go, so I do end up moving the Gooseneck around so it will be interesting to see how that impacts overtime on reliability .
Otherwise pleased with it, it's bright enough to see well over half the desk at one gp and obviously it 's simple to fit. On the whole a good buy at £16 GBP
