Doesn't stick and placement of text not ideal

The idea of this overlay is great, however, the execution is not that great. The glue should work only one time it says. I cleaned my pedal with alcohol and let it dry before sticking the overlay on the pedal. Still, it stuck for only a couple of seconds and the overlay came off. The idea is you keep the knobs on, but the plastic is quite hard and it's not that easy to get right once. In the end I taped the overlay on the pedal to keep it in place, but it doesn't look nice at all. Also the text on the overlay isn't placed quite right. So it overlaps a but with text on the pedal at some places, which makes it harder to see.

Adhesive is very low quality. Also if it gets even slightly bent or creased in transit, it becomes useless and won’t go flat to the pedal. Too much money for a product that likely only works one time in a hundred.
