Lot of tone variations not so good electronics
Tpld 30.05.2019
There's surely lot's of tone variations for the money. From scooped slap to attacky bridge pickup JB kind of sound. Even thou the whole sound range has a bit of a nazal undertone to it.

Quality wise the woodwork and hardware is all on the money. Tighten the screws and off you go. Neck feels good and the instrument is well balanced.

Electronics and setup is where things go down. Took quite a bit of fiddling to get that neck and action right.
Coming to the electronics, yes there's a lot of it and sadly these pots and switches feel as cheap as they function. One of the switches doesn't actually switch every time the position is changed and tone pot is crackling on turning. Not to mention the uneven feel where's the bass pot is almost too hard to turn and combined volume-tone is loose enough that one turns with another.
Even in active mode there's less volume (with the preamp blue pot cranked up) than in my other passive instruments.

All in all it's a fine instrument with good woodwork and tonnes of tonal options with low grade pots and switches.

PS
Great for the intermediate bass-player!
Patrique S. 29.12.2019
I liked this bass from the first time I layed my eyes on her in a music-shop. And man how it fulfilled my wishes when I could finally unwrap my own!
There's tons of (tonal) possibillities. Far more than I had on my previous basses. And with this setup I can achieve the tones I want. The 3 switches to toggle active/passive and both pickups work how they'd suppose to work. The tonal and volume knobs work pretty good, but the combined knobs both have a tendency to turn both at once, which can be undesired but for me is no biggy. In Passive mode I find this bass rather quiet and soft tonal. This far, nearly a month playing, I can truly say she's worth every penny. And I think it will be a long time till I think she no longer can fulfill my needs (haha), if ever.
