Nachdem ich eine alte Japan StratKopie wieder herrichte, bei der so einiges an Hardware fehlt, war ich auch auf der Suche nach einem Vintage Trem mit akzeptablem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Hatte es mit einem Wilkinson versucht, aber da war der Stahlblock zu klobig für die vorhandene Fräsung. Mit dem Gotoh klappt alles super. Für mich eine optimale Lösung, wenn man nicht gleich in der Callaham oder ABM Preisgruppe landen will.

Excellent vibrato vintage, bien fini et avec un contrepoids en acier, lourd et autrement plus fiable que ceux en zamac ! L'écartement des pontets et des vis de fixation, même s'il est très légèrement différent de celui du standard US, permet de l'adapter sur une américaine. Un petit regret toutefois, les ressorts (de très bonne qualité également) sont très puissants et rendent ce vibrato difficile à régler ! Mais on y arrive, quitte à modifier légèrement son tirant de cordes. En tout cas, du très bon matos à un prix plus que correct.
