Acceptable strings, won't buy again

These strings feel quite good, they are ok, but not worth the buy in my opinion. I had multiple sets with a dead E strings, Thomann then Dingwall was really kind to send me new sets, but I am still not a big fan of how they sound and age, I left 2 of the 3 sets I got in their package and never used them again.

Je joue sur dingwall depuis plus de 8 ans. Ces cordes sont très adaptées à la marque, bien sûr. Elles passeront sur tous les grands diapasons. Elles sonnent très équilibrées, je n'ai jamais eu de problème de fiabilité (casse ou autre). Un peu moins brillantes et plus douces au toucher que les tout acier. Leur gros point fort est le fait que les cordes de Si, Mi et La sont "semi" tapered : semi car il reste un filage autour de L’âme. La corde reste ferme mais profite de ce système de fabrication en terme de précision et de résonance longue et stable. Pour finir, elles restent abordables et ça c'est cool.

Der Hammer-Saitensatz für multiscales

Ich habe einen relativ preiswerten fanned fret 5string, der mit D‘Addario Werkssaiten daher kam. Diese konnten nach Einstellen des Basses schnell als Schwachpunkt ausgemacht werden. Ich wollte schon DR oder Elixiers als Ersatz in den Warenkorb packen, als ich "schmerzenshalber" nach Dingwallsaiten schaute. Dachte, wenn die so teuer sind, wie die Bässe von Dingwall...
Weit gefehlt!!! Deutlich günstiger und nach meinem Empfinden sehr ausgewogen vom Saitenzug und vom Sound. Allerdings sind mir die oberen Saiten (D/G) ein bisschen zu dünn. Egal: Saiten sind lang genug, der Bass klingt (präsent, warm, fett, sustain!) und lässt sich Sahne bespielen. Die Saiten sind jeden Cent wert und absolut empfehlenswert. Hoffe die Haltbarkeit ist auch gut.
