Crazy Tube Circuits Memphis Vibrato

Im Grunde bin ich immer auf der Suche nach Pedalen, die in RIchtung Phase 45 / leichtes UniVibe / Harmonic Tremolo gehen und dahin kann man sich mit dem Memphis Pedal auch bewegen, wenn man in den Wet/dry-Modus geht.
Der Sound dringt sich nicht zu sehr auf, wenn man nicht möchte und gibt eine schöne Klangfarbe. Das Vibrato ist toll und auch der Preamp, also der Drive bringt einen tollen Klang. Man kann die Tremolo-Intensität auf Null drehen und hat auf Wunsch dann auch ein astreines Drive-Pedal!
Ein echter Magnatone-Amp ist preislich für mich nicht drin, aber das Memphis Pedal ist noch erreichbarund denke ich eine kleine Annäherung. Optisch finde ich es zwar nicht so ansprechend, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

Magnatone was an amp from the 50s and I am very fond of Bo Diddley or Dale Hawkins and I was looking to have that vintage vibrato or in other words to get away from the traditional Hendrix vibrato sound.
I think the effect itself is very well done, it sounds very subtle, with a great sweep range and any position can be used, it's very musical!
The only thing I'm not happy about is that it adjusts the sound, not only is it a boost, but it compresses and thins out the tone of the guitar. It does this nicely if you combine it with overdrive, but it doesn't work with fuzzes. Outside of this personal drawback, the pedal is of boutique quality and price. It deserved it because its competitors are much more expensive! So if you are looking for a special vibrato sound, although not so vintage, it is highly recommended!
