DJS... READ THIS
If you use this recorder to record your set in clubs, plugged in the Rec, if you have a tiny bit of red in your channel, it will saturate, no matter if you decrease the volume of your recorder in the settings. same for Master channel, RED = SATURATION, which dose'n't happen with every recorder/brands. so if you want to record yoru dj set, DO NOT BUY

Great Recording Device except…
I love using this as a recording device. I use MTR mode for making quick little compositions or if I want to record something quickly just use stereo mode. The only problem is it eats batteries very quickly

So useful...
This is a portable recorder.
Of course, it's not a portable studio, it's not perfect, but it really does the job. Mics are fine, the whole thing is sturdy...
Just remember what were the options to record anything on the go for cheap not so long ago, and praise the thing..!
That being said, there are of course some minus.
The batteries don't last long enough, and ZOOM could do a version with a better, changeable, and rechargeable battery (we could take 3 or 4 of these when on a field recording trip). The power adapter should also be included in the pack (it's quite a shame that).
For the sound, beware of the noises when handling the thing. Invest in a little stand as to not touch the ZOOM while recording.
So, it's not perfect, it's not some professionnal gear, but if you know what to use it for, and how to use it, it's just a great, (quite) cheap, and very useful tool...
