Lacks the special TE sauce
The irony! Where you see the TE attention to build quality are the small metal rings attaching the straps to the case. They have such a beautiful finish I want to take them off and keep them on my desk as nifty little fidget objects. I figure TE machines them wherever they machine all their other parts. This is in almost comical contrast to the rest of the case which is just - ok. It's not bad by any means! But probably no better or worse than any non-TE OP-1 case out there.
It does do a very good job at keeping my OP-1 snug and secure. The foam insert fits to a T - if that's what you're after it can justify the price, for you.

A good case!
Yes, this is a good case for your beloved OP-1. It fits perfectly and feels very protective and strong. I don't think it looks good hanging from your shoulder as it stands as a woman's purse but without the strap it is the perfect little case for throwing your OP-1 in your backpack.
I wish the back pocket had a bit more space too. It fits only the USB cable and not any of the accessories.
Overall, a good case. A perfect one? Probably not!

Well Protected, But a Bit Of a Pain
The fact that this case was included in the price of the OP-1 at the time I purchased it, makes me happy to own it. The OP-1 is an expensive instrument, highly portable and therefore deserves to be protected.
I found that my unit gives the OP-1 a very tight fit, and I don't love the fact that I am sometimes required to use a little more force than I feel necessary to remove the instrument.
