O
Comfortable guitar - great for beginner enthusiast
OliBee 24.05.2020
This is a lovely guitar that fits beautifully under the arm. That bevelled edge where your arm hangs over is a godsend if you are practicing for hours.

With a pick it has tremendous volume; it can also be played fingerstyle.

Rarely goes out of tune

Only minor downside is that you do need to be careful not to scratch it because there is no pickguard and the wood seems quite soft.

The gig bag is very high quality.

I also bought the nylon version because I like to play both styles.

Taylor Academy Series 12e
Moonshine 23.02.2020
So after playing this guitar for about 6 month I'll have to say, I love it.
It has a bright clear sound which takes getting used to and may require some technique changes because it may not be as forgiving as other guitars.
It's remarkably easy to play with just the right action.
The sides and neck are not solid wood.
If you want solid wood you'll have to get the 3xx series or above.
The tuner is easy to use and reliable.
I haven't tested the mic yet.
That's it, I'm very happy with this guitar.

Amazing quality
RiccaFerr 06.06.2019
I own two Gibson Custom Shop guitars and wanted a new one for travelling around, then I was not expecting that a Taylor guitar in this price range could be so amazing.
The arms "rest" on the top of the guitar makes the playing really comfortable.
This guitar made me want to buy a more expensive wood with better wood tones.

Great!
Alkabile 26.12.2020
One of the best value for money. The guitar is comfortable, light and overall really well done, the sound mirrors the big sisters of the Taylor line. The pick up is very nice (despite being cheap).
highly recommended for all those who want quality at a modest price!
