Great sounds and value
Chris Tipping 25.10.2021
I find this keyboard to be amazing value for the price. All the essential keyboard sounds you could need for a gig, from acoustic and electric pianos with touch sensitivity to organs complete with programmable rotary speaker effect! Orchestral sounds are also of a high quality and the analogue lead synth sound is fantastic with the ability to add pitch bend and modulation.
I have owned many classic keyboards but I wish I could have had just this one forty years ago!

I love my Numa!
Peter NR 17.04.2021
Be aware that this is a 'semi weighted' keyboard and does not have full size piano keys... piano keys are a little longer, these are synth style keys and more suited to a keyboard player, not a classical pianist (but they do have some weight to them).
I think that anyone who has researched keyboards of this kind will already be aware of this.
I purchased it for two reasons. 1) to improve my piano playing and 2) as a MIDI controller for my DAW.
It is not a full featured MIDI controller but does what I need to do and I have the full range of 88 keys available, which is great.
As a stand alone piano/keyboard it is also great for what I need. I may purchase a full size, fully weighted board in the future, very possibly a Studiologic SL 88 Grand. Studiologic recently upgraded and added some new sounds to the Numa Compact and they are fantastic… and Studiologic were great to deal with via e mail!
Be aware that the speakers are better than many reviewers make out. Most boards of this kind do not have speakers at all and I think that having them is a big plus. If you just want to practice a little, you don’t have to fire up the computer or plug into an amp.
I say again… I love my Numa! And it’s soooo light and portable.

p
It's not perfect, but it's what I was looking for.
pabloscope 16.02.2021
This instrument has almost everything I wanted:
- USB/Midi
- 7 octaves
- Own collection of sounds
- Versatile
- Not expensive
- I would have wanted full weighted keys, but that comes with a price. So I settled for this capable semi-weighted action. In retrospect, I'm happy with my choice: I'm not a piano player, though I love the piano, I'm more of an allround, if not mediocre, keyboard player, so this fits very well.

It's very lightweight (maybe too much, the build construction leaves some doubts), and compact: it takes the space of the 88 keys and not much more.

The built-in speakers are a bonus, you probably cannot use them in serious environments, but to play around without connecting anything else than the keyboard, they're ok.

If you're not sure, there are many reviews on the internet to make up your mind, and the ones here helped me (thanks everybody!). If you're looking for something versatile, capable, lightweight and not expensive, this is a good choice, I'm very happy with it.

Very light 88 note keyboard
JosepS 17.12.2017
Is the tidiest, neatest 88 note available. It's light, comes on fast, has speakers built in for immediacy, and actually sounds pretty great, especially for the money. It has a simple split/layer function too, which is very useful. Bear in mind, of course, that this is not a fully weighted board (that would be impossible at 7kg! It's nearly a third the weight (never to mind the price) of my Nord Stage, but would function reasonably well as a temp backup if anything happened to mine.
