Stairville Stage TRI LED Bundle Complete

I looked around at various lighting rigs and decided on this one for the ease of use for the output that we were looking for. It came in two boxex, the main lighting rig and the footswitch (the stand is seperate). The main lighting rig is so easy to set up I would say a child could do it, but not quite as it a bit heavy for a child. All you do after putting the stand up (not all the way) is just lift the complete rig out of the supporting case and fit it into the stand, then just connect up the power lead and the footswitch and away you go.
The lights then need to be pointed in the direction of use, as there are four of us in our band we use one spotlight each, and just point in towards the roof area above one of us... initially we did point the spotlight directly at us, but in a small venue it was just too bright... It can be set up for sound to light (we use this one), automatic or user defined (by use of some sort of controller). We have found it works just great on sound to light and only use the footswitch to stop it and start it when needed (in between songs etc). All the various elements can be set up using an easy interface and once it has been set up, we have never had to change it as we tend to play in the same sort of venue so it takes about five mins to unpack and get the whole system up and running.
It could do with a longer lead for the footswitch as we have to 'play around' a bit at different venues to get the swith to the right person... however we have got around this by 'training' at least two members of the band...
With white, red, blue and green the LED's give out a very good light and gives some excellent picture opportunities for your promo shots. I would highly recommend this system to any local type band.

I can not stress how useful these lights have been for my band. We use them all the time for events and would not go out without them now.

In terms of build quality - they are perfect. Well made and come with a great carrying case so that they never get damaged in the van.

The LED's are powerful enough that we only realistically need one stand but for a full stage effect I would recommend two. The actual lights can be moved up and down as well as swivelling 180 degrees so they are perfect for covering a large area.

In terms of the stand - this also works perfectly and has some great height options for those that want to get the lights above a crowd.

We used these lamps at gig and I am very satified.
I just love handling - all laps are connected and in one complect. Instalation in very simple too.
They are very shine and bright and with this bundle was enough for 150m2 big hall.
I didn't like the quality of stand for 100%, but it has a bag - that very nice. And the case of lamps are awesome. I really like when equipment have perfect cases.
LED regulation is very easy when footswitch is in use, with these small buttons on board it is pretty difficult actually - maybe only for me.
Definitely in future I will buy another one bundle.

We brought this on a blinder of hope and its the best purchase we have ever made, so good we brought two! The user functionality is great, super easy to use, super responsive to changes, well built just a great unit! The leds are bright as you will ever need, the foot-switch functions are perfect and respond instantly. Couldn't believe how fast the effects can be will blow any standard strobe light away. The DMX control is easy to use and setup, again it responds faultlessly. The 3 year warranty covered any fears we may of had. The only down side is the stands they are a little flimsy so chuck those and buy so e sturdy heavier duty stands and this is a robust led bar that blows away any competition in this price range! Another added bonus is its comes in a well built soft case complete with hard case padding, the zips actually work no flimsiness there. All in all we are very very happy so THANKYOU Thomann. Guys buy with confidence!

After an email exchange seeking advice from Thomann's on replacing out PAR56 lights, was delighted when the bundle arrived. The carry case is robust. The lights ever so easy to set up. Because of their small size, they are very flexible in terms of where to direct each individual light. The output is superb. Very bright and strong, but without the heat or high power drain that ordinary PAR cans produce.
The only criticisms are the foot controller takes a while to get used to and I don;t like to put it in the side of the lights case so have found an alternative case for it.
The bundle seems to me excellent value for money as even the stand comes with a carry bag.
We've now bought a second set. With a DMX lead connecting the two, they work extremely well as a pair.
Easy to transport, very light weight, small, powerful and don't blow fuses!
Can't recommend them enough.
For a band like ours that needs quality lights for small live venues, these are ideal.

This was bought as a gift for a young drummer in our little rural band. He plays often exhibition gigs to backing tracks, and in local competitions too (which he tends to win)! He's a smart lad and within a very short time he had mastered the knack of not only his frenetic drumming, but also stomping on the various control pedals of this unit's programmable controller! The most stunning use of it was when he played in our local theatre, all alone on its huge stage, with the lights set low in front of him casting mesmerising melting shadows on the white backdrop creating the most hypnotic ambience imaginable! We now also use it when the band plays too. This set of lights comes with hefty endorsement from the hills of mid-Wales!
