S
my favorite guitar
Septimius 01.12.2021
I bought this last December, that is, my guitar is almost one year old now. It is still my favourite guitar to play. It sounds great and it's a beauty to look at. I keep it on a wall in my workroom and whenever someone talks loudly the resonators vibrate a little, and you can hear the guitar singing by itself while people speak. it's magic.
If you're a strummer this is not for you, it's going to feel all weird. If you, however want to play slide, this is perfect.

my only complaint is that the case that came with the guitar - it's included in the price - is absolutely subpar. It is an absolutely stunning looking case. But, first moment I touched it, the thing started falling apart - zipper, inner compartment, everything, piece by piece falls apart, it's like a leper. Every time I take the guitar out of the house, I know my case is going get worse, I'm going to lose a screw or something is goin to tare. This was the worst thing about this guitar - because I thought, if the case is shit, how long is it going to take before the guitar breaks.
So there I was, panicking about a month after I bought it, because I thought, oh no, what did I just buy?
But here I am, a year in and the guitar is doing fine. The case is next to useless, and the only reason I don't throw it away is - I don't even know why, I guess I'm going to throw it away.
Advice to Thomann - very nice of you to send the case. But don't. Instead of sending a useless cheap product, keep it, just send the guitar. The guitar is quality enough by itself.
