Great value

Very neutral sounding, packed with great features. Speaker cones look a little cheap, but these are a budget option and they sound killer.

This is an elite product!

Kali Audio has completely revolutionized the game when it comes to studio monitors, and let's dive into the symphony of reasons why!

Firstly, they've cracked the code on delivering top-tier performance without breaking the bank. These studio monitors are like the rockstars of affordability.

Now, the low end – ah, the controlled bliss! Thanks to the genius move of placing the bass port in the front, and did I mention the fantastic room DSP settings? They've basically gifted us a sound paradise for those of us whose rooms are yet to be treated.

For the lucky ones with treated rooms, brace yourselves because Kali Audio is here to give the pro monitors a run for their money. The mid's detail is like a maestro leading a musical expedition – bold, upfront, and true. No need to worry about missing out on anything with those crossover points.

And here's the real kicker – no fatigue in the high frequency spectrum, even after marathon recording or mixing sessions. Unlike some monitors that aim for a shiny, hi-fi high end and end up causing more fatigue than a caffeine overdose.

A solid 10/10! In fact, I'm so impressed, I've got not one, but two sets. And the excitement doesn't stop there – I'm gearing up to test their 3-way monitors soon.

Bravo, Kali Audio! You've hit all the right notes.

They are sure BIG!
fommof 15.09.2022
After my Presonus Eris E5 gave up the ghost, I bought a pair of those to replace them.

Although I had read the dimensions I was still shocked when I took them out of their boxes. Yup, they are BIG comparing to the Eris. So, first of all Just make sure they are a good match for your room/desk/whatever before you buy them. Luckily, I have them in my living room so space is not an issue.

I mainly use them with my modeler (FAS FM9) for playing guitar and bass, listening to my recordings/music (FM9 as an interface) and mixing (haven't spent much time doing that yet). I live in an apartment so we are talking about low to moderate volumes.

So far I like them more than the Eris, full and big sound, they seem even through out the full range frequencies (mayby and that's a big maybe, they have a touch sweeter highs). Zero hiss, several settings to adjust them for your room/placement. Unfortunately, I can't directy compare them with the Eris since they are not operational.

The one thing I don't like so far is the on/off switch placement which is right next to the power cable socket.

I'll update the review once I've spent more time with them.
