Should have been beautiful, like the pictures. Poor finish quality

Even though this is an inexpensive guitar, I expected more care given to the finishing, because it's an "Anniversary" version. Someone most likely handled this guitar while the clear coat was wet. When it arrived, non-removable white fingerprints were on the front and back, as well as dust nibs. I buffed out all the blemishes with compound. Now the finish is glossy, but with my hard work, the guitar is now presentable. Also, the 2 thinnest strings popped out of the tuning machines as soon as I started playing it. Check the locking tuners, make sure they are tight. There are no extra windings.

Die ist aber hübsch!

Kurz zu meinem pers. Hintergrund der meinen Blick auf Gitarren definiert:
Ich habe auf einer preiswerten Akustik (HB) angefangen und habe mit einer preisgünstigen Ibanez Hollowbody (Preisklasse 300Euro) auf E-Gitarre weitergemacht. Ein Vergleich zu Gibson und Co. ist damit nicht Gegenstand meiner Bewertung, ich kenne sie nicht und das wäre ja auch eine völlig andere Preisliga.
Ich bin grundsätzlich auf Single Cut mit Goldlack heiß gewesen und das in einem Preissegment, das meiner kostenintensiven Sanierung Zuhause nicht abträglich sein sollte. Die Firemist bietet genau das, farblich ausgesprochen schön den Einstieg in die Single Cut Welt. Mit Locking Tuner (die Stimmstabilität ist save!), edlem Hals der ohne dicken Lack auskommt (fühlt sich klasse an) und noch etwas Zubehör, das hier nicht weiter ausführe. Ich habe den Gitarrenservice von Thomann in Anspruch genommen, sodass sie optimal eingestellt bei mir ankam.
Was sie macht, das macht sie gut. Die Optik ist super. Der Lack ist extrem schön, nur ganz minimale Lackfehler sind bei genauem hinsehen auszumachen. Die Preisklasse sieht man ihr keinesfalls an, ganz im Gegenteil.
Der Hals fühlt sich großartig an, die Saitenlage passt super und sie liegt mit ihrem Gewicht sehr angenehm auf dem Schoß oder um den Hals. Die Roswell Pick ups glänzen wunderbar in Chrom und sie klingen wie man es erwartet. Die Firemist hat Sustain ohne Ende, wenn es um Klangvielfalt geht sind die Roswell allerdings begrenzt, das gewissen Etwas was einen vom Hocker haut das fehlt mir da.
Damit bin ich schon am Ende und kann sagen: Wirklich geiles Teil, wo ich noch viel Freude dran haben werde, evtl. irgendwann mit anderen Pickups auch noch weit in die Zukunft. Ich kann sie empfehlen!
