Variety and aesthetics

The Fusion-III HSS Roasted IB model is a real eye-catcher. The body made of Nyatoh is painted all over with a matt "Ice Blue" finish. The roasted, bolt-on neck is made of Canadian flamed maple. This instrument is very comfortable to play thanks to its nut width of 42mm and a modern C-profile. The roasted maple fingerboard with its 22 wear-free jumbo stainless steel frets is also more than an off-the-rack product. In addition, a TUSQ nut, a two-point tremolo, and WSC staggered locking diecast machine heads are used here. The electronics consist of a humbucker and two single coils with AlNiCo-5 magnets, made by Roswell. These are complemented by a five-way switch as well as volume and tone potentiometers. The tone potentiometer also allows the humbucker to be split via a push-pull function, and the jack socket is ergonomically recessed into the side of the body.

Can be used across genres

The Fusion-III HSS Roasted IB is an inexpensive guitar that stands out above all for its multitude of impressive as well as practical features. The roasted flamed maple neck alone is a rare find in this price range. But that's not all: Locking machines heads ensure reliable tuning, while the stainless steel frets are characterised by minimal wear - so the instrument can last for many years. And it will never get boring, as the sound is extremely flexible and is at home in many genres thanks to the three pickups, the five-way selector switch, and the option to split the bridge humbucker. This guitar is recommended for beginners who want to start with a high-quality instrument in order to remain satisfied for a long time, for example. But those on a budget who want to own a particularly elegant and flexible instrument for a comparatively low price will also find what they are looking for.

Sounds to suit any style

With the Fusion-III HSS Roasted IB, you will be ready for whatever situation presents itself. The HSS pickup configuration delivers both typical single-coil sounds with the intermediate positions and full-throttle Rock tones from the bridge humbucker. The AlNiCo magnets also provide a vintage-style touch to the sound - from Blues to Hard Rock and from Pop to Funk, there's nothing the Fusion-III HSS Roasted IB can't manage. Depending on the song and song part, you can vary the timbre and the degree of distortion beautifully. The two-point tremolo system also contributes to the guitar's flexible sound-shaping abilities. On stage, changing your instrument for the sake of sound should therefore be unnecessary.

Impressed

Impressed with the quality on this guitar, can’t fault it. The roasted neck is beautiful. I needed to adjust the truss rod a bit as the notes on the first 3 frets had some serious buzz but other than that it was ready to play. The volume pot feels very loose compared to the tone pot so will need to watch that. Not a major fan of the trem but it does the job. Very happy, can’t beat it for the price!

Great and versatile

I used to own a Charvel Pro Mod. Why spend over $1,000 US when you can have a Harley Benton Fusion III for a fraction of the cost and all of the looks, playability and more? Fantastic guitar.

Bueno pero falta de control de calidad
Old-1984 21.10.2021
Positivo:

Music for Nobody 14.02.2022
Mein Hintergrund:
Nun musste wieder eine neue Übungsgitarre her.

Also zweiter Versuch:

Fusion III Neuware
