Edge is not even
Mostro 28.07.2021
The longer edge is not even, it is as if the cut it from another piece of metal on that side and the did the cut wrong, so it jumps a uneven, if that makes sense. still if you take care measuring inside the area before the cut, you can get away with it. Bad quality, look for something else.

Rough but it works.
MacGee 10.09.2022
Bearing in mind this product was very cheap so my expectations were low.
However, I was pleased to find that when I checked the edges they were flat. At least when I checked it with an engineer's ruler I couldn't see any gaps whatsoever.
However, where this product isn't so good is the finishing quality. The burring on the cut edges is sharp. This need to be carefully sanded/smoothed before use. You could cut yourself or damage your frets.
But this was ok for me as the main function of straight edges was achieved and a bit of smoothing for a cheap unfinished product can be expected.
Recommended for anyone on a tight budget who doesn't mind finishing off the product.

Not machined properly...
mystovski 25.01.2024
The point of spending money on a fret rocker is that it's supposed to be straighter than a random object like for instance, a credit card. Unfortunately this one is machined very poorly and it's just not fit for the purpose. The sharp edge is slightly bent, which looks a bit like they used a blunt tool to cut it. What is good about it? You can take some sanding papers and try to even out the edges by putting a sanding paper on something very flat like a window glass. This shouldn't be too difficult. But should it come like this? Hell no.

Does the job
Curt R 11.10.2020
I'm not a luthier or guitar tech. I just need something cheap and cheerful to check the frets on new guitars to see which ones need to go to the tech for fretwork.

Does the job. There is a little tiny line protruding, on the longest side, where it looks like the machine cut started and finished. This isn't really a major issue, as long as you don't put that bit on the fret!

I was worried about it having sharp edges, as it's so cheap, but the edges are ever so slightly rounded off, so very little risk of cutting your fingers with these.

I'd recommend it, for the money.
