Very nice addition to my silver Gretsch Jet Club. Easy to install, but mind that you do not turn in the head too fast. When changing your strap, you may be unscrewing the whole pin from the body of the guitar. Unscrewing the whole pin from the body of the guitar too often, may cause the hole in the wood to wear out.

But it looks beautifful. Truely Getsch!

These Gretsch Strap Pins in Chrome i purchased at a great price from Thomann. I couldn't find genuine Gretsch pins cheaper anywhere else online...

I got these for a Cabronita Telecaster I'm building with Gretsch pickups and fittings and these look fantastic on the guitar.. Once they have been drilled or screwed in the top part then screws off while the screw stays in the guitar. You then put your guitar strap on and screw the top back on again. This means your strap will then stay in place without slipping off (basically like locking ones). These look great and are highly recommended for any guitar, especially if you're looking for something a bit different.

I've allways used the Dunlop Straplock systems on all of my guitars, but since I bought myself a gretsch, I replaced those with this system. It doesn't matter where you are or which strap you're using, they fit every strap and every guitar. With the straplocks I often had the problem that after a few gigs the part at the strap got loose and I always had to make sure it was still in place when I took of my guitar. Now I just screw them in at the start of a gig, and at the end the're still as sturdy as they were when I got on stage. And last but not least: it looks kick ass. I rebuild a tele last year, and with details like this it's a dream to play and to watch.
