Ok, everyone, you can trust me or not trust me... I fitted these to a Partscaster I made with a relic body from California and a neck from a Squire... I expected these to sound pretty good, but I honestly can tell you they sound really really really good. I was delighted. Just to show what I mean: I also own a Custom Shop '57 Strat, a Custom Shop Nocaster, two Les Pauls - a 2001 (with Mojotone '59 clones installed) and a 2019 (new version of 50s standard), a 2014 Rickenbacker 330 and a 2016 Elite Strat with Custom Shop Fat 60s installed. AND THIS PICKUP SET in my Partscaster sounds 99% as good as any of the others.

I play through a 2000 '59 LTD Bassman RI.

Some complain that these do not sound "vintage"... what they mean is they aren't as 'airy' (slightly less mid frequencies) as other Strat pickups. Believe me, these Hot Noiseless sound purely Fender and are sweet as candy.

The "Hot" does not mean they sound like heavy metal... no, they sound perfectly normal but you can drive them with overdrive effect more easily. If you want them even more gentle, just move the pickups closer to the body... simple.

It did not disappoint, it's clear and balanced. The 5 way switch could have had more quality, but it's something not critical to me at all. I was afraid, that these pickups might lose the fenders "je ne sais quoi" sound. It's turned out to be unfounded. It's sounds just excellent.

En jouant sur les potentiometres de tonalite et volume on arrive parfaitement au son clapton avec n importe quel overdrive
cependant je les trouve un peu froid en son clair, il manque le côté vintage

Mais si vous cherchez le son fender moderne c est ce qu il vous faut

Ich spiele normalerweise Gibson Les Paul Gitarren und habe das prewired system für ein Fender-Projekt gekauft.
Habe eine Squier Strat komplett aufgerüstet (komplette Hardware etc..) und eben auch die Elektronik. Die Gitarre dient mir als backup Gitarre und ist daher regelmäßig auch auf der Bühne im Einsatz.

Der Sound ist typisch Fenderstyle und hat daher den gewissen warmen bluesigen sound, aber auch diesen unverkennbaren "Twag".
Insgesamt haben diese Tonabnehmer mehr drive als standard Fender singlecoils, aber daher ja auch "HOT".
Der Bridgetonabnehmer geht dann schon auch ordentlich in die Vollen und setzt sich sogar gegen eine rotzende Les Paul wirklich gut durch.
Für eine "ehemalige" Squier Fender klingt sie dadurch jetzt unverkennbar echt und ihren großen Schwestern aus USA gut ebenbürtig.

Das System wird fertig verkabelt geliefert, daher alles bestens...
Habe die Lötstellen kontrolliert, sowie die Potis durchgemessen und konnte keine Fehler finden.
Montage an der Gitarre ist mit Lötkenntissen denkbar einfach.
(Die Erdung hinten im E-Fach kann schon gut wärme und Lötzinn vertragen, daher wenn vorhanden, große Spitze in den Lötkolben einsetzen).
Es müssen die beiden Kabel an die Klinke, sowie das Erdungskabel an der Tremoloaufhängung im hinteren Fach angelötet und ein weiteres Erdungskabel mit vorhandenem Kabelschuh lediglich geschraubt werden. ---> easy!

Ich kann dieses prewired system tatsächlich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, es ist sicher auch für jeden eine unkomplizierte Lösung, der seine Strat mal etwas anders klingen lassen oder wie ich eine "günstige" Gitarre aufwerten möchte.

Mit den oben genannten Kenntnissen ist das ja durchaus zügig umgebaut. Warum ich das komplette System und nicht die einzelnen Tonabnehmer gekauft habe? Ich wollte es einfach mal ausprobieren und bin durchaus angetan.

Die Optik spielt natürlich auch eine Rolle, die Cremefarben der Abnehmer sowie der Schriftzug machen richtig was her im vintage style.
