It only looks like a wide range humbucker.

A-B this with a genuine wide range humbucker, equipped with CuNiFe threaded magnets and you will immediately notice that it is not the same thing at all. If you are after the authentic sound - look elsewhere (Curtis Novak gets it more right than most in terms of authentic tone of a wide range humbucker). That said, the pickup itself has a bright humbucker tonality and works well in a suitable telecaster, just dont expect it to sound like a genuine vintage '72 Tele Deluxe.

R
Fender 72 Reissue Tele Humbucker Neck Pickup
Robert814 17.02.2014
After looking at some Reissue 72 Thinline Telecasters, sorry but I just don't like the style. The sound is something I've been meaning to attempt to achieve for many years and I just found these while browsing (Hurray!). I needed both the bridge and neck pickups together, but it makes more sense to supply them separately because most people who are prepared to customise have some strong ideas about the sound and often want to mix and match types. (I've got BOTH bridge and neck - Yeah!). Standard size, easy to fit, I've been using a soldering iron since the age of 7, so easy.

MP
Fender Wide Range para Custom72
Mr. Palmer 25.03.2018
