After a forty year wait I got the drum machine, I always wanted !
The Behringer RD-6 a faithful re- imaging of the Roland TR-606, was always going to be judged on its individual sounds. its analogue heart is definitely where it should be , the inclusion of MIDI and separate outs bring this machine, squarely into the 21st century and, in the studio. It sounds fantastic , those rasping hats pattering away sound like no other drum machine out there, I love mine , and I can`t believe its been forty years since this machine was on my wish list .

Only if you like 606's
This product is well made, designed and is a good physical emulation of the original. However, after a week of using it I stopped because the sound variation is not great (not quality - it is meant to be that way) and the hassle of using up 6 inputs on my mixer and audio interface to get variation in sound.

As low-fi as the original but not without charm
Cheap, plastic and non-configurable but simple to program drum machine. The sound is not as classic as the 808 or 909 but surely usable as the hi hats, clap and toms are pretty nice in the mix. The bass drum does not really fly though.

606
I like the sounds and the design as the old 606, but it could have been manufactured with a bit more love.

Great drummachine
A great TR-606 drum-machine clone, very easy to use and its operates very well.
A tip, sync your RD-6 with a midi controller, its very hard to do it manually on a DAW.
