Finally I've upgraded my old trusty speakers, that I used to study different aspects of music recording and mixing for the Adams. And it was like taking the plugs out of my ears!

The low end is very natural, the highs are airy and smooth, and overall the sound is focused and three‑dimensional. There's a great sense of separation between the component parts of a mix, with an awesome impression of front‑to‑back perspective.

One of the additional great features is the ability to fine tune the low and high frequency responce (and even the tweeter level!) with the controls on the back of each speaker. You may find it useful if the acoustic conditions of your room are not perfect.

Overall these are excellent nearfield monitors at their price point. Highly recommended!

I'm never going back to anything else!

Absolutely the best "bang for buck" monitors you can get.
I've been using a pair of these for years. I've tried going with something else for my 2nd workstation at another location and ended up selling those and getting another pair of these. What they bring to the table is just amazing at their price point.

I do mostly audio post-production, but I've come to love their sound so much I now use them to listen to my private music collection as well.

They are perfectly complimented by the Sub10 Mk2 subwoofer, however they can hold their own without one when it comes to lower frequencies if necessary. High end is where they really shine absolutely putting the competition to shame.

Their amplifiers are also fairly quiet so you won't find the idle hissing anywhere near annoying even at very close proximity.

- (quite obviously) superb overall sound
- very smooth and detailed high end
- tight and controlled, although somewhat limited bass (physics - only 7" driver)
- german precision - made with quality in mind

- I've had my first pair for over 4 years now - I can honestly say - There are NONE.

these are unbelievably good.

Okay if you're thinking about buying speakers in this price point you can not find anything better than the Adam A7Xs. These are just amazing. First of all the features: its so convenient having the volume knob and the on and off switch on the front of the speaker. also the bass ports are on the front which is great because you don't have to worry about placing them close to the wall. Second the quality: theses speakers are pretty robust. they're heavy, the knobs, the switches and the connectors feel good and the overall quality is great. Lastly I wanna talk about sound: the sound of these speakers is amazing. the clarity that they have is unbelievable even in high volume thanks to their tweeters. they sound flat. the bass is there and you can hear it without any distortion even though they have a 7 inch woofer. overall I highly highly recommend them for their quality of materials and sound. they might seem expensive but you get what you pay for and these speakers are worth the price to the last penny.

I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a pair of these monitors. Upgrading from my old trusted Mackie's I've had for years. What can I say, It's been a revelation!

The clarity that can be heard from my mixes has been elevated and the true sound of each element within a mix is highlighted. Old mixes have been revisited to take advantage of the new shiny monitors I have in my studio. The build quality is fantastic too with the on/off switch and volume knob located at the front of the speaker. The bass port being at the front is great too, and the detail in the low end is clean and clear.

I can't stop talking without mentioning the tweeters. The X-ART tweeters provide crystal clear highs. I've heard some people say they were overblown to a degree but I really like what they achieve when mixing.
